2021 Show Cancellation
It is with great sadness that the Chairman, Roger Richmond and the Board of Trustees of Dunster Show Society have made the difficult decision to cancel the Dunster Show 2021. We are sure that you will understand that this decision has not been taken lightly. Even taking into account the latest statement from the Prime Minister, the current situation with Covid -19 and the uncertainty of restrictions on gatherings and of how long it will take to get back to some form of ‘normality’ has made it very difficult to run this year’s event.
Planning for a show continues throughout the year, involving considerable financial outlay and the committee consider that the risk to the finances of the Charity is too great.
Whilst this news is disappointing for everyone, we are sure that you would agree that the health, safety and wellbeing of our traders, competitors, members, sponsors, volunteers, visitors and local community is of the paramount importance. Your support is vital to the survival of the Dunster Show Society and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for your continued support during these unprecedented times allowing us to provide bursaries to our existing students and donations to our charities.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday 19th August 2022 for an even better Dunster Show and hope and trust that the world is in a better place by then.

- Forward parking;
- Receive your tickets and badges in the post and beat the queues on the day;
- Access to the members’ enclosure with its own dining and bar tent and covered seating by the main ring;
- Annual newsletter;
- A right to vote at the Society’s AGM and become involved in helping to run the charity.
Patronage
